Bathing and watersports

In summer Carinthia is the region of lakes. The lakes glow turquoise blue and the water is warm. Children play on the shores, couples take romantic strolls and active types let off steam swimming, waterskiing or surfing.

And if you want to see the lakes from a different perspective, all you have to do is climb a mountain and look down into the valley over the wonderful Carinthian landscape. All of these turn Austria’s most southerly province into a true water paradise.
