The “Keltenwelt Frög” open-air museum offers a scientific and archaeological presentation of the Hallstatt culture, with numerous original finds as well as unique exhibits of first-class replicas. More than 400 different species of animal live in Rosegg Zoo, situated in the historic park around the Burgberg.
A few minutes away on foot, surrounded by ancient avenues lined with linden trees is Schloss Rosegg, which was built in 1772. The castle houses a room of life-size wax figures of former lords of the castle in costumes and uniforms. Between the castle and the zoo is Austria’s largest garden maze.
The Sikoronja Gallery exhibits works by contemporary artists, in particular from the Alp-Adriatic region.
