You shift your weight forward and start to glide; the edges of your carving skis make a curve down on the slope. Ahead of you are 7.6 kilometres of pure white piste on one of the longest runs down to the valley in Europe: the Carnia.
Here even the water is in its element: in the form of snow crystals it lays a carpet on the charming countryside which really forces you to go skiing and, frozen into ice, it is the basis of exciting world cup races on the feared Franz Klammer downhill course.

When summer fun on the beaches is nothing but a memory and winter tranquillity returns to Lake Wörth, busy helpers decorate the city of angels in the pre-Christmas period and put up literally thousands of sparkling lights.
