Hike along the beautiful Lake Wörthersee circular hiking trail and feel your inner calm emerge. Between the trees you will catch sight of one lovely view after another of the sparkling lake, and discover cosy spots here and there that are just perfect for pausing and unwinding.

Short description/itinerary:
Take yourself off on an enjoyable hike around Lake Wörthersee on the southern side of the Alps. The 55 kilometre trail is well signposted, the countryside is pleasantly hilly and the route runs alongside bright forests, with repeated glorious views of both Lake Wörthersee and the proud Karawanken mountains. You can relax as you hike the Lake Wörthersee circular hiking trail in three or four stages with just a light daypack, because selected accommodation providers will take care of transferring your luggage to your next overnight stop. And as a little surprise and sustenance, when you arrive at your hotel a regional snack pack will be waiting for you, filled with delicious titbits from the local region.
