Hochosterwitz is one of the most famous castles in Austria. Its position is unique - situated on a 150 m high rock rising from the landscape.
Thanks to the ingenious architecture of the defensive fortification, the castle has never been conquered. It is still possessed by the Khevenhüller family. Museum with weapon and armament collection from the 16th century.

Castle restaurant with good Austrian cuisine – Knight’sHall for events – elevator. Its museum houses an extensive collection of arms and armour used from the 14th to the 19th century.
