Ski helmets required for children and adolescents!

In recent years, the willingness to wear a helmet on the ski slopes has increased considerably.

Now, several Austrian provinces, including Carinthia, have passed a law making ski helmets mandatory for children and adolescents of age 14 or younger. In Carinthia, the ski helmet requirement applies to children and adolescents beginning on 1 December 2009. The helmet requirement applies to both skiers and snowboarders.
